Sean Pietras' passion for the performing arts has been evident since his first lead role onstage as a fifth grader. But it was at the age of 12 (when he received his first guitar) that his true love for music and performing was realized.

After years of rigorous study, dedicated practice and playing on hundreds of stages throughout his youth, Sean began sharing his individual style of performance, singing, and songwriting with other musicians. By encouraging students to explore a deeper relationship with musicianship and find their own unique style, Sean has created his exclusive approach to teaching the art of live interactive performance.

Sean’s students have gone on to attend world-renowned music colleges such as Peabody and Berklee College of Music, and have broken into the industry on more independent ventures by recording their own albums with his collaboration.

He has also shared both the studio and the stage with many great acts and has played around the country supporting them along the way. From hosting local open-mic events, playing solo gigs, to performing in places like BB King’s Blues Lounge in Nashville (with Marcell and the Truth), and making solo appearances at SXSW in Austin, Sean’s style spans many genres.

Currently Sean teaches guitar and vocals at music schools in Maryland and is working on the video development of his instructional methods to share through social media.

Sean is available to book for solo performances for events by contacting him directly.
